MINUTES OF VMC MEETING HELD ON 07.01.2009

          The  Meeting of Vidyalaya Management Committee, Kendriya Vidyalaya , ITBP, Dehradun was held on 07.01.2009 at 11.00 am under the chairmanship of Shri Sanjay Singhal, IPS, DIG, ITBP/Chairman.    The minutes of the meeting are as under:-

WELCOME OF NEWLY JOINED CHAIRMAN: At first the committee welcomed the newly joined Chairman, Shri Sanjay Singhal, IPS/DIG, Garhwal , ITBP, Seemadwar, Dehradun.

DISCUSSION ABOUT THE POOR PERFORMANCE OF THE STUDENTS APPEARING IN BOARD EXAMINATIONS:- The Principal informed about the poor performance of the students who are appearing in AISSE/AISSCE, 2009.  The Chairman asked the Principal to submit the list of Slow learners to him and assured to do the needful in this regard.

PRUCHASE MATTERS: The Principal requested to Chairman  to accord his approval to purchase one Sofa Set with Central table for Principal’s room.  The Chairman & Committee  agreed to purchase the same as per the norms.
         Further as per the instruction from Assistant Commissiner, KVS(DRO), Dehradun, the Principal requested to the Chairman & Committee to purchase an Over-head Projector under CMP Programme.  The Chairman & Committee suggested to Principal to purchase a Visulizer instead of Projector, as it is better than the  Projector.  The Principal  agreed with Chairman. 
        The Chairman & Committee  also suggested the Principal to purchase  more Computers for the students of the Vidyalaya, so that the students, computer ratio may be decreased.

REMOVAL OF BUSHES & CLEANLINESS: The Principal informed  Chairman about the Bushes & grass growing both the  sides of walls of ITBP and KV.  The Chairman assured the Principal, that he would  take necessary action in this regard.

REMOVAL OF TWO TREES:  The Principal informed the newly joined  Chairman that the permission for one  additional section has  been accorded by KVS(HQ).  As  24 rooms are to be constructed to the left side of KV, two dead  trees are  to be removed , so that the building may be constructed.  The Chairman assured the Principal, that he would personally look into the matter and the concerned department will be contacted for removing the said trees.

PROBLEMS CREATED BY THE APPROACHED ROAD BETWEEN ITBP CAMPUS & KV: The Principal informed to Chairman & Committee about the road in between KV & ITBP Campus.  This road becames slippery due to the over water flowing the drains.  The Chairman agreed to write  to the Municipal Corporation about the problem and also agreed to contact the Public Works Department to repair the road.

HANDING /TAKING OVER PROCESS OF NEWLY CONSTRUCTED COMPUTER LAB: The Principal informed the Chairman & Committee about the delay from Construction Agency i.e. CPWD, Dehradun.  She told the committee that the last date of handing over of the Lab. was 31.05.2008, but till date the electrical work of the lab. is pending.  The Chairman assured to Principal that he will talk with Executive Engineer, CPWD , Dehradun personally. 

SANCTION OF FUNDS FOR PLAY GROUND: The Chairman asked  Principal about  the play ground. The Principal informed the Chairman & Committee about the progress of sanction of fund for play ground. The Chairman instructed the Principal to submit the necessary documents of correspondence done by the Vidyalaya   with KVS for sanction of funds for the play ground and assured the  Principal that he would personally contact the higher authorities of KVS for sanction of  funds.

PROBLEM DUE TO SEWERAGE WATER FLOWING THROUGH KV CAMPUS: The Principal requested the Chairman  & Committee about the problem faced by the Vidyalaya by the Sewerage water  flowing in the corner of the Vidyalaya.  Principal informed the Chairman, that   foul  smell of Nala which is hazarous to the health & hygiene of the students & the staff.  The chairman was agreed to look into the matter at his own level.
